**Salary: $75,000 - $80,000, commensurate to experience**

**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a range of products, including artisan breads, sourdough, croissants, Danishes, Donuts and other pastries
- Follow established recipes and techniques while maintaining consistency in product quality
- Mix, shape, and proof doughs for breads and pastries according to our production schedule
- Monito baking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results
- Assist in developing new recipes and refining existing products to expand the bakery's offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the baking area, following food safety and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring stock levels and sufficient for production needs
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient and smooth operations

**Requirements**:

- Formal qualifications in baking and pastry arts, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in a commercial bakery setting, with skills in baking breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Knowledge of sourdough fermentation and pastry techniques
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality products
- Ability to work early morning shifts and manage time efficiently in a busy bakery environment
- Excellent communication skills and team-orientation attitude
