Fitter and Turner

Programmed are currently looking for experienced Fitter and Turners for a full-time opportunity based in Staplyton. Our client is a leading manufacturer and installation of pools and spas.

**Your duties are but not limited to**:

- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on all pieces of equipment.
- To perform breakdown maintenance tasks as required
- Minimize downtime of equipment and labor by addressing breakdowns promptly and efficiently
- To immediately report any incidents to the Facility Manager.
- Quality control

**The successful applicants will demonstrate the following attributes /qualifications**:

- Trade Qualification as Fitter and Turner
- 3 years’ experience in a maintenance role
- Problem-solving skills, demonstrates the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a sense of urgency
- Experience in manufacturing

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stapylton, QLD 4207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
