Machine Analyst

**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity exists to be part of the Remote Health Monitoring Team. This team is dedicated to viewing, analyzing and supporting the operation of our mining equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work with our state-of-the-art Smart Technology to monitor fleet performance using mechanical aptitude, analytical skills and solutions-oriented approach. **This role is fixed term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily monitoring of mining fleet performance using machine-generated alerts and other analytics tools developed internally.
- Analysis of equipment performance to increase the reliability, availability and productivity of the machines
- Working with the Smart Solutions team to develop analytics and reporting solutions that highlight machine issues
- Review recurring issues and work with the regions and customers to reduce them
- Measuring the value against the total cost of ownership to the operation of our equipment

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- 5+ years of technical or hands-on troubleshooting experience with specific mining products (Shovels, Trucks, HEX) (essential)
- Project management and change management skills (highly regarded)
- Critical thinking, data analysis and report writing skills (essential)
- Process driven & attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new technologies, systems and processes.
