Bookkeeper

**Job Title**: Junior Bookkeeper
- Partime
- Rhodes, New South Wales
- Salary: AU$30.00 per hour + Bonus

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Xero and AirWallex accounting software experience.
- Be detail-oriented, ability to multitask, work independently and prioritise tasks
- Proven track record of increased responsibilities and scope
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems where analysis requires the in-depth evaluation of numerous factors
- Experience in hospitality and restaurant bookkeeping or finances

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain financial records and perform data entry.
- Assist clients in utilising Xero.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the bookkeeping team.
- Monthly IAS and quarterly BAS
- Processing superannuation contributions
- Weekly employee expenses

**Preferred Qualifications (a plus)**:

- Familiarity with Australian tax regulations.
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- A strong knowledge of Excel
- Bank reconciliation and bookkeeping experience
- Do you have children? Work between school hours
- Previous experience in a small business environment would be advantageous
