We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Factory Cleaner to join Australia's leading specialty chocolate maker. As a Factory Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our controlled factory environment. You will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, equipment sanitation, facility maintenance, and office cleaning. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate dishwashers and ensure proper cleaning and sanitisation of utensils and factory equipment.
- Manage allergen cleaning tools and adhere to food health and safety regulations.
- Perform daily cleaning of toilets, lunchrooms, and office spaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Clean dishes, ensuring they are thoroughly washed and sanitised.
- Dust, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness in designated areas.
- Mop floors and utilize floor scrubbing equipment for effective cleaning.
- Monitor and stock take/order cleaning chemicals required for maintenance.
- Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to established quality standards and maintain pride in workmanship.
- Work independently, demonstrating a strong work ethic and reliability.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated understanding of food health and safety procedures and sanitation practices.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning.
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated shift hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work overtime on Fridays when required.
- Previous experience in cleaning or a similar role is preferred.

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
