**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Feed Allocator at Grassdale Feedlot, you play a key role in reaching cattle performance targets and maintaining cattle health and wellbeing through effective bunk calling and decision making on feed allocation. You will also be responsible for ensuring feed commodities are received, stored, processed, batched and delivered to cattle, with industry-leading efficiency and quality control.
**ABOUT YOU**
To be successful in this role you will have experience with feed allocation and reporting or substantial experience in a feed production, milling or feed batching position with a strong desire to grow your career and learn feed allocation. You will also bring:
- Ability to make effective decisions using critical thinking and problem solving skills to support optimum cattle welfare and performance.
- Demonstrated high level of communication, both written, verbal and two way to achieve effective workplace outcomes.
- Ability to influence, coach, persuade and negotiate to achieve effective outcomes with the team, key stakeholders and senior employees.
