About the role

Daikin Australia is currently seeking a passionate WHS Officer devoted to safety and wants to be part of our Risk and Assurance team based in Chipping Norton, NSW. The purpose this role will have been to manage and maintain the integrated management system including Quality, Environment, Health and Safety.

As we take our safety journey to the next level, this will involve you, proactively and collaboratively engaging with managers and employees in discussions to strengthen their safety awareness and/or assist with devising up pragmatic solutions to increase the effectiveness of controls. Part of your daily activities will include participation in safety interactions, workplace inspections and site walks, and providing guidance regarding incidents and hazards.

About you
- Bachelor’s degree in work health and safety and/or relevant diplomas
- Experience working in WHS in either warehouse and/or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Australian standards and other regulatory processes will be ideal.
- Experience using PolicyTech, DoneSafe or similar management systems will be beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
