In this role Production assistant - Digital Print you will be responsible for the Signal Group’s digital print production for Ganging / Imposing / Printing / Laser Cutting.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to
- Digitally and manually set up printing jobs according to job specifications, including selecting appropriate materials, adjusting settings, and loading printers.
- Monitor print quality throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality consistency and accuracy.
- Operate digital and wide-format printers
- Use doming equipment to complete orders with precision
- Manage consumable supplies and inventory within the print environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the printing process such as ink issues, or mechanical malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of job orders, materials used, and production output.
- Follow Signal Group safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and the wider Production Team.

YOUR BACKGROUND
- Have experience working in a print and production environment
- Have knowledge and/or experience on wide format cmyk digital printing and engraving machines.
- Possess a strong, reliable and efficient work ethic
- Have a can do attitude and willingness to get the job done with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Comfortable with computers and technology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and printing processes.
