Maintenance Officer

We are searching for a maintenance officer to help maintain our lovely new facility. We are passionate about providing the best care and environment for our residents that we can and are looking for someone who shares this vision. You will report into the Finance and Operations Manager and have an officer reporting into you to delegate tasks to.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor maintenance records and ensure works are carried out according to accreditation standards for the facility
- Undertake the scheduled and preventative maintenance program; conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment and perform repairs
- Arrange for service providers to carry out planned maintenance within set time frames and to a high standard
- Monitor usage of consumables and put practices in place to manage efficiently
- Maintain the grounds of Archbold House including pathways, stairs, balconies and outdoor sitting spaces
- Prepare vacant rooms for new occupancy
- Assist the Finance and Operations Manager with refurbishment/maintenance projects as and when required

**About Us**:
KOPWA is a respected and accredited aged care provider located in the leafy streets of Roseville. Our facility is settled in lovely gardens enjoyed by the residents and staff alike.

KOPWA currently owns and operates a Residential Age Care Facility of 56 beds, however, we have just opened stage 2 of our development and will begin grow occupancy over the next few months. The organisation also manages Home Care Packages, both Government supported and Fee for Service, that support clients in their homes, comprising package Levels 1 to 4. These services are provided in the Ku-ring-gai area and extend into the Northern Beaches.
