Childminder

**About the position**

Our Crèche team provides our members with high quality child minding services, so our members have a chance to have the time out need to focus on their own health and wellbeing. Balance currently has an opportunity for a casual Child Minder to join our friendly team. Responsible for the care of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, daily activities will include;
- Organising group activities
- Interacting and engaging with children
- Changing nappies
- Assist with snacks and bottles
- Facilitate bookings
- Maintain clean and tidy facilities at all times including toys and equipment
- Assist children to be ready for swimming lessons

This position will require morning and evening availabilities along with Saturday mornings.

This position will require the successful applicant to have a drivers licence and access to a vehicle as travel to different sites is required.

**Certifications required**:

- **Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent**
- **First Aid**
- **CPR (Yearly renewal)**
- **Working with Children Check**

To be a success in this position, you will have high energy and enjoy working with children. With a friendly and caring nature your ability to engage and ensure the children are cared for will assist parents to feel at ease. Providing the children with fun and interactive activities will go long way for children to have a great experience while in the crèche.
