Reofast is a family-run business that specializes in the supply & fix of reinforcement steel. Our expertise span the residential market, apartment buildings, and commercial building industry with a focus on the premium residential market. We enjoy the work that we do and we’ve been doing it for over 20 years, across the Perth region.

We are currently looking to grow Reofast through our team and are seeking an _**Experienced Leading Hand Steelfixer**_and/or _**Experienced Steelfixer**_who wants to grow into a Leading Hand role**.**

**About the role**

About the Leading Hand Steelfixer role: The role is leading the steel fixing team (predominantly in Residential Steelfixing on Suspended Slabs). The leading hand is responsible for understanding the engineer drawings, accurately installing the reinforcing steel, managing the team’s quality and performance output, and keeping the team accountable for their safety responsibility.

The role will suit you if you had the following experiences:

- Different types of steel fixing work
- Reading engineers Marked Up Drawings from the steel scheduler
- Can interpret Engineer's Drawings accurately
- Managing a team for quality and time performance
- Lead the fixing team on site
- Dealing with different personalities and conflicts within the team
- Communicate with the builders and their supervisors
- Solving problems and challenges with the work and with people
- Time management

**About you**
- Experience in steel fixing or in leading a team of steel fixers
- Have a driver’s license and own transport
- Has a white card
- Reliable and take pride in the work you do. Be a team player as well as a leader
- Has a sound knowledge of the technical aspects
- Highly motivated and can-do attitude
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Prior experience in construction necessary
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to problem-solving
- Happy to travel from job site to job site as needed
- Able to travel to jobs from Bullsbrook to Mandurah.:

**Salary**: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
