We are currently looking for a **casual eBike and Trailer Rider (Operations Specialist)** to help swap batteries in eBikes and eScooters across the Melbourne CBD. This is a bike-based role, so if you love riding bikes and navigating the city - this is the role for you

Our eBike Trailer Riders and Operations Specialists support the delivery of Lime's eBike and eScooter fleet across Melbroune CDD. This unique role utilises a Lime e-Bike, linked to a custom e-Assisted trailer so the operator can swap depleted batteries for charged ones.

The role includes contributing to a positive and respectful team culture with other field technicians and mechanics. **Confidence on a pedal bike in and around the CBD is essential.** This role is perfect for someone who has yet to get their driver's license.

Shifts:
Lime operate 7 days a week, throughout the day and night. We are looking for a casual with flexibile availability across the week, below are the general shift times:

- Weekdays: 9am-5pm
- Weekends: variable 10am-6pm or 11am-6pm

Remuneration

As per Vehicle Repair Services and Retail Award 2020 [MA000089], RS&R - Level 2 (Casual)
- Standard Hours - $29.04
- Saturday Hours - $40.65
- Sunday Hours - $52.27

Example responsibilities and tasks
- Clock in and scan out key equipment
- Utilize Lime’s operations app to undertake tasks and submit reports
- Follow directions to map locations and undertake tasks as required
- Perform in field swaps of e-bike batteries that are low on charge
- Navigate and safely park e-bike and e-trailer
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by following safe work practices and procedures.
- Communicate with and respond quickly to live requests, including through app use.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with riding a pedal bicycle in and around Melbourne's CBD (1+ year preferred)
- Fit and active - able to lift 30kgs frequently
- Familiarity with using smartphones / technology (iOS/iPhone experience preferred)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (safety permitting)
- Great attitude and collaboration skills - teamwork is key to success
- Experience in Indigenous and/or multicultural contexts, youth services and/or social enterprise and skills in languages other than English are valued

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
