**About the role**

This is a max term full time position where you will combine working at The Early Learning Centre in Terrigal while completing your Certificate 111 in Childrens Services. This is an 18-month contract. The centre is located on the grounds of Our Lady Star of the Sea Terrigal Primary school and Parish. Our Service operates 8.15am
- 3.45pm during the school term. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

**Duties**
- Assist the Coordinator/Teacher and the team to implement the program.
- Develop a positive and supportive relationship with children.
- Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with families.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to complete Certificate 111 in Children’s Services through a traineeship.
- Willingness to gain First Aid (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis) and CPR certificate during employment.
- Willingness to complete Identify and Respond to children and Young People (CHCPR001) during employment.
- Willingness to complete a 0-2 yearsprac during a term break.
- A working with Children Check (if over 18 years of age) and a criminal history check will be conducted for the successful applicant.
