Studley Park Boathouse, an iconic Melbourne venue nestled along the Yarra River, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Barista Manager to join our team. As a Barista Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our bustling coffee operations, ensuring excellence in both quality and service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the high-volume coffee operations, handling 4000-5000 coffee orders weekly.
- Ensure consistency in coffee quality and presentation, maintaining the highest standards.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct staff training sessions to enhance barista skills and customer service.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the venue as required.
- Ensure all equipment is in working order and the venue is set up for daily operations.
- Conduct end-of-day procedures, including cash reconciliation and security measures.
- Uphold and enhance the reputation of Studley Park Boathouse by delivering exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Monitor and manage coffee bean and supplies inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality products.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in staff training and development.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to open and close the venue.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year

- Barista: 2 years (preferred)
