**The Role**
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) is seeking an experienced individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys a variety of tasks and is a committed team player. This position provides support to the Resource Manager in workforce management, culture and administrative compliance and governance.
Duties include overseeing recruitment actions from commencement to on-boarding, travel support & guidance, senior leadership support, assisting with data generation and reports, procurement activities, records management, general administration and the delivery of a range of policy and process guidance to the unit.
They are also responsible for administration support of the Group Operating Budget (GOB) including tracking commitment, expenditure and preparation of reports and a key contributor to the culture and wellbeing program.
**About our Team**
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is a business unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATS) branch of the Aerospace Systems Division (ASD), within Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). ALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF’s C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft. ALSPO, in partnership with industry, exists to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission by providing effective sustainment support solutions.
The Business Management Unit (BMU) within ALSPO is a highly capable and professional team operating in a dynamic and challenging work environment supporting Defence capability. Given the integrated nature of our business, building and maintaining cooperative and collaborative relationships are fundamental to our success. Proudly located in Greater Western Sydney at RAAF Base Richmond, an hour west of Sydney, the Base has an employee accessible gym, tennis and squash court, pool and cinema.
