**Residential Aged Care Facility**

**(Permanent/Casual)**

We are active in the provision of a comprehensive range of social welfare services, catering the needs from cradle to seniors, including residential aged care, home ageing, settlement and health, vocational and training, disability services, child care and many more community-based services. We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated and multi-skilled people to join our Residential Aged Care Services team in Asquith.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Cook in preparing the necessary ingredients for meals;
- Responsible for the hygiene of kitchen utensils, facilities and floors;
- Assist other kitchen staff in serving meals;
- Maintain a high level of food hygiene and a clean and safe working environment;
- Assist the Cook in cooking if needed;
- Receive and check delivery if needed.

**Selection Criteria**:
**Essential**
- Minimum two years working experience in catering industry;
- Strong understanding and commitment to food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulation;
- Responsible, good execution and communication skills;
- Value teamwork;
- Understand basic English;
- Hold Food Handlers Certificate;
- Hold a valid visa to work in Australia;
- Current police check with clearance; and
- Have the right to work in aged care.

**Desirable**
- Working experience in Residential Aged Care Facility or similar establishment;
- Flexible working hours;
- Passionate about cooking;
- Fluent in Chinese/ Korean.

Salary and employment conditions for the above position are as per Enterprise Agreement. Discount child care fees are available for CASS’s long day care, before and after school, and vacation care services.
