**The Department**

Caulfield Nurse Pool supports a wide range of services for both campuses. The Nurse Pool provides the supplementary workforce promoting effective seamless care from acute care back to the community. Our staff covering emergency, acute ward, geriatric ward, geriatric psychiatric, rehabilitation, and community care within the Caulfield campus.

**The Role**

Our Ward Clerks are responsible for the coordination of communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Nurse Manager. Your goal will be to promote and maintain good customer relations with patients, visitors, and other hospital staff.

You will have outstanding interpersonal and customer relation skills to communicate with members of the public and a variety of health professionals. Proven experience with telephones, reception, clerical and good computer skills are a must.

Knowledge of medical terminology or previous work experience in a Hospital environment would be an advantage. An ability to be organised, efficient and proactive in a busy ward environment would be an asset in the role.

We are looking for individuals who are available to work Monday-Sunday for either morning or afternoon shifts.
