Goodna is only 20 kilometres from the Brisbane Central Brisbane District (CBD), ideally located as a centre point between Brisbane and Ipswich. It was designated by the Queensland Government in the South East Queensland (SEQ) plan as a major activity centre, a transport oriented development centre and as an economic activity centre.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
