Key Responsibilities:
- Picking product by hand, utilising Material Handling Equipment or mechanical aids- Packaging or repackaging of outbound consignments, including labelling and packing to customer specific packaging requirements- De-stuffing of containers- Utilisation of hand tools including but not limited to; nail guns, hammers, strappers, crow bars, staple guns and labeller’s- Utilising our Weir systems to control stock movement including receipt, put-away, picking and dispatch- Utilisation of RF scanners- Liaise with other departments, service providers and internal stakeholders, relative to stock movement, transport or warehousing, when required- Operation of Material Handling Equipment, inclusive of on pavement forklifts and high reach trucks- Loading and unloading of various truck types- Supervising staff- Communicating with customer support around freight enquiries
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience working in a Warehouse
- Forklift Ticket is desirable
- Experience working in Retail or FMCG is also desirable
- Exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills
