**About the Role**
As a Community Support Worker based in our Singleton Hub, you will play an essential role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing. This will include working across community access supports and in our day programs. Working in both a team environment and independently, you will provide a range of services assisting clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engaged in meaningful opportunities.

This permanent part time position will require you to work some afternoons and 1 weekend in a month. Flexibility to work across these shifts is a must

**Key focus**:
Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs
Assisting with transportation of clients to the hub and/or appointments
Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies
Assist and support clients with personal and hygiene care, if required.
Communication with families about clients' progress
Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping

- Experience in the Disability sector is desirable
- Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care and happy for this to be part of your job
- Personal qualities of resilience, empathy and self-confidence
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect
