**Radio Frequency Technician**

We are a small and experienced team who, in addition to providing our clients with best-in-class engineering and project delivery, also have a large number of ongoing maintenance and support contracts for our previously delivered systems ensuring we deliver systems that are maintainable and supportable into the future.
An exciting opportunity exists for a new person to join our team in Brisbane as a radio frequency technician. We are looking for someone who can help our small company offer bespoke technical expertise to our clientele.
This role also requires the ability to work from our Brisbane office and commissioning warehouse and will require intermittent work in other locations throughout Australia depending on project requirements.

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Delivering radio and mobile phone rebroadcast transmission design deliverables as part of a project team including technical system drawings and reports.
- Participating in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
- Handling of ACMA licensing, frequency allocation, bill of materials creation, detail design reporting etc.
- Equipment build, configuration and testing as part of FAT, SAT and Site Commissioning activities
- Point of contact for design related technical queries within given projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
**To be successful in this role, you will preferably have**:
- Bachelor of Engineering Electronics/Telecommunications, Certificate IV in Telecommunications Engineering Technology or relevant trade/military qualification (in RF communications, radio or electronics etc.
- Understanding of telecommunications project delivery including requirements management, system design and technical documentation.
- Understanding of how to use telecommunications test equipment and interpret results such as spectrum analyser data and antenna sweep graphs.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 1 year) in technical project engineering and design delivery for VHF, UHF and/or mobile phone radio or radio rebroadcast systems.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 1 year) in testing and commissioning of VHF, UHF and/or mobile phone radio equipment.
- Desirable experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of optical fibre system.
- Desirable experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of IP Networks.
