Learning and Capability Advisor

The Bloomfield Group are seeking a dedicated Learning and Capability Advisor to join our team and lead the development and delivery of training programs that support health, safety and performance across our mining and engineering operations. This role plays a key part in supporting our workforce and aligning our capability development with operational goals and strategic initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and deliver engaging training using modern tools like AI, video, and interactive modules to promote safe, efficient work practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor learning to site needs, individual styles, and evolving legislation, WHS standards, and industry best practice
- Evaluate and improve programs through user feedback, course data, and incident learnings to ensure continuous improvement
- Coach and support stakeholders across the group and team to embed a strong learning culture across the business.

**About You**

To be successful, you’ll bring tertiary qualifications in Learning and Development, WHS, Industrial Design, or a related field, along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You’ll have strong experience in instructional design, training delivery, and capability development, ideally within mining, engineering, or heavy industry. Experience in creating both traditional and e-learning content, ideally using Articulate or similar e-learning tool, is highly regarded. With your excellent communication skills, customer focus, and familiarity with visual design tools and learning systems, you’ll be confident working with stakeholders and delivering innovative and engaging learning solutions.

Please note this is a site-based role working Monday to Friday. The role will primarily be based at Ashtonfield with travel required across our Hunter Valley based operations, with a vehicle option being included within the package.
