**About the role**:
The rail industry is booming so we’re again looking to develop a new cohort of safety focussed people seeking to start their career in rail with one of Australias largest operators. On offer is the opportunity to be trained by like-minded people who advocate safety, diversity and integrity while working hands on as a
**Roll-by Observer** out of
**Port Kembla, NSW.**

As a
**Roll-by Observer** will be responsible for preparing and conducting visual roll-by inspections of crossing/passing trains from the ground, or on-train, to identify equipment, load security or other defects or failure and reporting and/or actioning the inspection results.

**About you**:
It all sounds great doesn’t it, so what do we expect of you?
- If you have rail experience that’s great, if not that’s ok too, we just need you to be safety focussed, enthusiastic and passionate about learning

- Availability to commence training in **early-mid June**.
- Experience working in heavy vehicle/industry environments, as well as experience doing shift work will be advantageous
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks including a Psychometric Safety Testing, CAT 1 medical, physical assessment and ongoing D&A screens
- Ability to complete a National Police Clearance
- Provide current First Aid Certificate HLTAID003 or be willing to obtain
- Must hold a valid FULL C Class Drivers Licence
