Domestic Cleaner

**Job Summary**:
Amos Cares Home Services is seeking a dedicated **Cleaner Level 1** to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to residential clients in Ipswich and surrounding areas. The role includes maintaining cleanliness in client homes and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Residential Cleaning**: Clean various areas of client homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, dining rooms, and utility rooms.
- **Floor Care**: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in all areas.
- **Surface Cleaning**: Dust and wipe down horizontal and vertical surfaces, such as counters, shelves, furniture, and windowsills.
- **Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaning**: Clean and sanitise sinks, taps, showers, tubs, toilets, countertops, and appliance exteriors in kitchens and bathrooms.
- **Rubbish Removal**: Empty bins, replace liners, and clean bins as required.
- **Maintain Equipment**: Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, properly stored, and safe for use.
- **Client Relations**: Greet homeowners politely, maintain professional relationships, and respond to any reasonable requests from clients.
- **Compliance**: Follow all safety guidelines and work within the Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
- **Travel to Client Locations**: Travel to and from various client locations as required.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience as a cleaner or cleaning technician is essential.
- **Education**: High School certificate or equivalent.
- **Car and License**: A car and a valid driver’s license are essential.
- **Police Check**: A current police check is highly desired.
- **Yellow Card**: A yellow card is highly desired.
- **Availability**: Flexible availability between 8 am and 5 pm, approximately 15-20 hours per week.
- **Reliability**: Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is essential.

**Physical Demands**:

- Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 kg.
- Physical activities include bending, lifting, repetitive movements, and walking between client locations.

Pay: From $31.21 per hour
