**About the role**

The work entails providing community support to a NDIS participant with mobility assistance (wheelchair). You will be responsible to assist the participant in attending their nursing appointments and reception of medications, while montiroing their health, safety and well-being.

**Duties include**:

- Assisting client with Community Access and Medications
- Assisting with transportation and wheelchair access
- Assistance with Manual Handling
- Following NDIS code of conduct
- Following shift plan and providing feedback
- Maintain accurate reporting (timesheets, risk or incident reports, shift notes)
- Honest, transparent and consistent communication.
- Eye for detail concerning in-home and outdoor risks
- Exhibiting leadership

**About you**:
Support worker with good communication skills, a commitment to service, and a great can-do attitude will be the fit for this role. Please be aware that the client will require assistance with wheelchair mobility and occasional transportation to and from their health centre.

**To be considered for this role you must have**
- NDIS Screening Check
- Valid Covid-19 Vaccination certificate
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Car

- Australian Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Infection Control / Safe Hand Hygeine Training

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
