We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion and are expanding to Brisbane with a brand-new Fine Dining Restaurant "**TAMA**" opening inside of a Heritage listed building in the centre of Fortitude Valley.

This new contemporary dining venue is going to be led by award winning duo **Alan Hunter** and **Richard Ousby**.

**Alan Hunter** is renowned sommelier and ex-General Manager of OTTO Brisbane who has joined Artesian Hospitality as a Partner and Director of Restaurant Operations. Under Hunter’s prior leadership at OTTO the restaurant was awarded Wine List of the Year and Two Hats in the Good Food Guide in 2019.

**Richard Ousby** is internationally recognised chef who is taking the lead within the new dining venue as Executive Chef. Richard gained experience in England at Michelin 3-star restaurant, Waterside Inn, as well as working under celebrity restaurateur Peter Gilmore as his Sous Chef at Quay Restaurant, Sydney. Richard is well-known on Brisbane’s scene as Executive Chef at Stokehouse restaurant, overseeing its Melbourne establishment as well.

**The Role**:
**This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a minimum of two year's experience in fine dining establishments.**
- Responsibility for a section of the restaurant including overall service and delivery of dining experience to allocated tables and customers
- Reporting to Restaurant Manager
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Responsible for engaging with customers and taking food and beverage orders and entering into POS
- Check presentation of dishes, crockery etc. and notify Chef or Manager of any problems
- Serve, wine, dishes etc. to correct customer and introduce dishes at the table
- Clear dishes and glassware from tables
- Organise all requests from customers and present bill at the end of service
- Prepare tables by setting up linen, silverware and glasses and maintain a tidy dining area
- Wash and polish cutlery and glassware

**The Person**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members
- Up-to-date knowledge of culinary trends and a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Previous experience in high-end dining experience
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a busy environment
- Attention to detail, ensuring impeccable presentation of dishes and overall dining experience
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- RSA
