Our client, a global food restaurant chain is on the lookout for a Deployment Specialist to provide crucial technical support for a network refresh project. This role is central to enhancing in-store technology through deployment, asset management, and continual improvement processes.

Location: Frenchs Forest, NSW (Hybrid; Onsite with some remote work)

Duration: 3-6 months contract

Role Purpose:
As a key member of the team, you'll be working as part of a specialised team that look after the planning, preparation and deployment of the network refresh for our client's franchise Restaurants. Here are some of the key impacts associated with the role:

- Resolve technical issues to ensure operational continuity of store systems.
- Install and configure store systems to meet corporate standards.
- Work independently while collaborating with the broader restaurant technology support team.
- Analyze call trends to recommend system enhancements and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deploy hardware and software and prepare new stores.
- Document deployment processes, asset management, upgrades, and new methodologies.
- Act as a higher-level support for in-store technology issues needing installation or replacement.
- Ensure timely, high-quality support for service requests, adhering to SLAs.
- Oversee and support store equipment operations including registers, packing screens, EFTPOS, digital menu boards, storage, security, backup and recovery, store wifi, and network infrastructure.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers for timely repairs under warranty agreements.
- Contribute to the overall strategy for improving customer support and enhancing helpdesk processes.
- Deploy firmware updates, security patches, and software maintenance.
- Investigate and adopt new technologies to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain current systems to support smooth team operations and implement new restaurant technologies.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma required; Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline preferred.
- 2-3 years of IT support experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware configurations, Windows environments, and networking.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Experience with specific industry software such as Macromatix, Eftpos, NCR Aloha, and digital signage preferred.

Additional Requirements:

- Availability to support a 7-day operation as needed.
- Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week with 2-3 night shifts per week. (Not required onsite the day following a night shift)
