**About the Role**

Due to a recent internal promotion, JBS Australia is currently recruiting an experienced and pragmatic Salesperson to join the JBS Southern Operations Sales team. Based at our Southern Ops Head Office in Port Melbourne, and reporting to the Group Sales Manager - Beef, this role will be responsible for executing the sales plans / sales team strategy, as well as contributing to product branding and revenue maximisation strategies for the Beef sales business.
- Participate in weekly and routine pricing strategy development sessions, populating and updating the sales price sheet weekly.
- Work in conjunction with the business PCP (Production Control & Planning) to assist the order planning, execution and value maximization process with sites.
- Develop new markets and products outside of the traditional fresh meat and offal products.
- Analyse and develop strategic pricing models in conjunction with the business finance partner.
- Prepare an annual sales plan in alignment with the overall business goals.
- Gather market intelligence, trends and opportunities to communicate to the sales team and broader business.
- Assist with the reporting and analysis of sales data, industry supply, demand drivers and competitor analysis information.
- Actively monitor and action inventory & accounts receivable opportunities
- Coordinate with sales assistants to maintain the required customer service level and ensure customer enquiries are dealt appropriately.
- Liaise with PCP (Production Control Planners) on production, labelling and specification maintenance.
- Develop and execute brand activation activities to drive sales, brand awareness and increase brand value through strategic activities.
- Participate in strategic brand structure reviews and ensure continued alignment of the brand strategy with the market.
- Participate in trade shows, events and other public activities to promote the products and brands of the business.
- Develop and coach staff in your team, sharing your skills and experience to support the team to reach their full potential.
- Participate in ongoing supervision, mentorship and knowledge sharing with colleagues, senior management and other business departments.
- Conduct regular visits to productions and customer sites including international market visits.

**About You**
- Undergraduate qualifications in Business/Marketing or similar
- Demonstrated experience in a high performing Sales / Account Management role.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills, specifically with excel, word and outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations whilst maintaining a strong customer service focus.
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-task.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Takes other's perspectives into consideration.
- Must be energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement.
