Kitchen Hand

The Coffee Emporium Warrawong is seeking a **reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Hand** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Perform various cleaning duties, such as washing dishes, pots, and utensils, and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Operate the dishwasher and ensure all kitchen linen is cleaned and stored.
- Maintain impeccable food hygiene and safety practices.
- Receive, check, and store stock and supplies.
- Assist with general kitchen tasks as needed by the chefs and cooks.
- Handle waste disposal and keep bins clean.
- Maintain floors, work stations, and equipment.

**Skills**:

- A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good knife skills (an advantage).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen procedures is beneficial but not always required, as training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a passion for food and the hospitality industry.

Pay: $24.95 - $32.15 per hour
