**Luxury Multibrand Fashion - Melbourne**

Now Hiring | Our luxury client hosts a range of emerging and contemporary designer brands across their twenty-plus stores and growing. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join them as a Buyer based out of their Melbourne office.

In this role you will manage and build the branded buy - identifying the right trends and products that will build out a comprehensive womenswear range utilizing sound analytics combined with innovative ideas to provide strategic growth plans. You will be trend-focused, and conscious of strong performers in the luxury space - identifying new brands that align with the brand portfolio, and work back with the in-house line.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Range Building - Consulting with designers, working on pre and in season range development, and providing regular feedback to design on sales, trends, competitors and areas of opportunity. While also reviewing and aligning product strategy based on business performance and company/global market analysis.
- Buying - Buying for the business, managing OTB from end to end, managing the success of each collection through developing and driving strategies, and optimising buying to maximize opportunities by market.
- Pre & In season Management -identify opportunities based on sales performance, working with the retail, online and marketing teams to help drive sales on socials and retail channels and participating in international and domestic store visits.
- Reporting - Weekly and monthly analysis of all retail and WS reporting, seasonal analysis by collection and compiling EOS summaries.
- Working with planning to help manage markdowns as well as bundle deals and forecasting opportunities
- Sourcing new brands and trends that align with the wider business

Skills you will have:

- 4-5 years of retail buying experience gained within a fashion and/or luxury environment.
- Experience in Range Building and branded buys
- Strong eye for luxury products.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Proven ability to drive results.
- Forecasting and analytical experience - ability to run detailed reports, strong analytical skills, with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Proficient in Excel with demonstrated ability to create excel-based reports and templates.
- Experience with a retail management system like AP21.
