Volunteer Usher

**About Us**:
The Gleaming Tribe is a faith-based community committed to providing a supportive space for Christians to find encouragement, spiritual growth, and genuine connection. Our mission is to combat social isolation and foster a sense of belonging through prayer, fellowship, and personal development.

As we prepare for our next event, we’re looking for warm and enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team as Ushers and Greeters, helping us create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.

**Position Overview**:
As an Usher or Greeter, you’ll be the first point of contact for our attendees, playing a vital role in ensuring everyone feels valued and at ease. You will assist in event logistics, guide guests, and help maintain the smooth flow of the program.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and assist attendees with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Provide directions to event areas (e.g., seating, restrooms, registration tables).
- Distribute materials such as programs, handouts, or event schedules.
- Maintain a sense of order during the event by guiding attendees to their seats and assisting with any questions.
- Be available to address any attendee needs or concerns and escalate issues if necessary.
- Assist in setup and cleanup activities as needed.
