We are seeking a compassionate and reliable **Female Disability Support Worker** to assist a woman with Cerebral Palsy in Rowville 3180. The participant uses an electric wheelchair and requires support with personal care, mobility assistance, and light household tasks.

You will be required to assist the participant with transfers using a hoist and a pivot transfer aid (training can be provided if needed). Morning shifts involve helping the participant get out of bed, showered, and dressed for the day. Evening shifts include light cleaning tasks followed by assisting the participant with her night-time routine and transferring her into bed.

**Shift Details**:

- **Weekday Morning Shifts**: 7:30am - 9:30am
- **Weekend Morning Shifts**: 8:00am - 10:00am
- **Night Shifts (Every Day)**: 8:00pm - 10:00pm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with personal care, including showering, toileting, and dressing
- Support safe transfers using a hoist and pivot transfer aid
- Light household tasks (folding clothes, hanging laundry, emptying/stacking dishwasher, sweeping and mopping)
- Promote the participant’s independence, dignity, and comfort

**Requirements**:

- Must be female (participant request)
- Previous experience in disability support work and manual handling preferred
- Confidence using hoists and transfer aids (training can be provided)
- Reliable, patient, and caring nature
- Current Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Infection Control Training Certificate
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence

**About the Participant**:
You will be supporting a kind and intelligent woman who lives with Cerebral Palsy and uses an electric wheelchair. She is a hard worker with a vibrant personality who loves to sing, have a chat, and share a laugh. Always smiling and giggling, she brings positivity to every day.

The participant is very capable and knows what works best for her. She is looking for a support worker who will listen carefully, follow her instructions, and work alongside her in a respectful and supportive way.
