The role is on an 8 day on, 6 days off roster and will transition into a 8 days on, 6 days off / 8 nights on, 6 days off roster. Multiple positions are available across our **Jundee, Thunderbox and Carosue Dam Operations.**

As a Trainee Process Technician, you will be given the chance to learn on the job and be involved with all aspects of operating the processing plant, including, but not limited to:
- Assisting in keeping the process plant running safely and efficiently within pre-determined process parameters and within pre-determined control limits-
- Ensuring the effective recovery of gold from ore processed whilst minimising costs (reagents, diesel, etc.)-
- Compiling production data as required-
- Conducting samples of the process to verify the grade of ore being processed (conveyors, leach tank, cyclones etc.)-
- Monitoring the process with sampling procedures to ensure targeted metallurgical recoveries are being metNo prior experience is required as full training will be provided; however, the following will be looked upon favourably:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude-
- General understanding of the mining industry-
- Experience with FIFO-
- Current First Aid-
- Working knowledge of computers and the ability to maintain records-
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must, as is a willingness to learn-
- You must also be physically fit and hold a valid WA Drivers Licence.**About Northern Star Resources**
