We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Factory Foreman**to lead our production team and contribute hands-on in carpentry tasks.
**Nimlok** is expanding its operations and performance in Victoria and requires a leader to drive the production and assembly of exhibition stands.
**Nimlok**is an established Exhibition and Display manufacturer with associates worldwide.
We pride ourselves on producing quality and innovative displays to meet our client’s expectations.
The successful applicant will be based at our **Campbellfield, Victorian**branch and factory.
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Start Date**: Immediately
**About the Role**:
This is a dual-role position suited to a capable tradesman who can also supervise factory operations. You will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring production schedules are met, and maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise day-to-day production floor operations
- Lead and participate in carpentry tasks (e.g., cutting, assembling, fitting)
- Allocate tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines
- Maintain safety and quality control on the factory floor
- Train and guide factory staff and apprentices
- Coordinate with management on materials, schedules, and improvements
- Read and interpret drawings and build plans
**Requirements**:
- Trade qualified carpenter
- Prior experience working in the exhibition and set industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Forklift license advantageous

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
