Boilermaker

**About the role**:
We have a full time Boilermaker position based out of the Sydney Steel Mill at our Rooty Hill site. This role offers permanent and stable employment, on day shift. You will also participate in regular shutdowns, attend to breakdowns if the need arises.

You are responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of a variety of production machinery by identifying opportunities for improvement, performing fabrication/boilermaking and inspection tasks, executing planned, preventative and predictive maintenance.

A self-starter with heavy industry experience, you are committed to learning the steel industry and hold safety, family, sustainability and change as core values
- Trade Qualification - Boilermaker / Fabrication
- High Rish License - confined spaces, working at heights essential
- Forklift & Mobile Crane licence and experience highly desirable
- Preventative maintenance, breakdown and shutdown experience desirable
- Proven ability to fabricate and weld to test standards
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Computer literate and SAP would be advantageous
- Flexible to work overtime and shutdowns, when required.
