**Your Responsibilities**

As the leading store person, you will be working closely with management looking after the end to end Warehouse Operations, from receiving through to dispatch. You will be required a backup to the Assistant Warehouse Manager. With the opportunity to move to higher roles within the operation.

**Duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Working with the warehouse team for picking and packing according to pick slips/RF scanners
- Despatching area backup
- Addresses up to date
- No orders to the wrong destinations.
- Urgent orders out the same day
- Checking all orders processed in time on system
- Keep despatch line clear so pickers have space for orders being picked.
- Customer queries, pickups, booking of freight
- Quality checking of orders
- Learning and working with the Warehouse Management System to enable best practice process and to facilitate the activities managed by the warehouse team
- Liaising with the management and other team members to complete major warehouse tasks.

**What we're looking for **
- Ability in warehouse operations and able to lead a team members
- Have a forklift licence
- Time management and ability to work at a fast pace, be responsive to critical timelines and manage competing demands
- Fosters an attitude of continually looking for ways to improve business operations
- Understand and adhere to WHS procedures and play an active role in WHS
- Good interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative in dealing with problems and identifying solutions
- Ability to prioritise own work and committed to ensuring deadlines are met.
- Transport and distribution knowledge would be highly advantageous

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
