**About the role**:
We are currently seeking **Experienced** **Underground Drill Rig Operators (Gas Drainage)** at our Metropolitan Mine. Our Metropolitan mine is an underground coal mining operation located 30 kilometers north of Wollongong in Helensburgh, NSW producing metallurgical coking coal for export and domestic customers.

**The lifestyle**:
This position works 3 x 12 hour shifts per week.

**About you**:
To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Relevant underground competencies and abilities
- Experience working in Gas Drainage
- Commitment to high performance standards.
- Currently appointed to operate downhole drill rig, or have experience within the past 2 years

In addition to the above, you will have a genuine commitment to safety and demonstrate a sound understanding of risk and hazard identification. You will be an exceptional team member with a flexible attitude and sound work ethic.
