**Installation fitter**
**Salary: $65k to $75k pa**

We are looking for an experienced **Fitter (General)** to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. Fitter (General) will fit and assemble metal parts and subassemblies to fabricate production machines and other equipment.

**Duties / Responsibilities / Activities**
- Installation of custom-designed bracketry and Autonomous equipment to a variety of our customer’s light vehicle fleets.
- Installation of custom-designed bracketry and Autonomous equipment to a variety of our customer’s medium truck fleets.
- Installation of custom-designed bracketry and Autonomous equipment to a variety of our customer’s heavy mining machinery fleets.
- Complete general mechanical servicing of light vehicles.
- Complete installations and service works to Autonomous Mining equipment in our Canning Vale workshop and in the field across various of our clients' sites both locally and on a FIFO bases as required.
- Installation of light vehicle trays, toolboxes and auxiliary battery mounting solutions.
- Installation of specialist technology components in light vehicles, medium trucks and heavy earth-moving equipment cabins for Autonomous mining systems.
- Complete commissioning, fault finding and diagnoses of auto electrical systems to 12- and 24-Volt systems.
- Assist the Engineering team with research and development of new parts, brackets and systems.
- Assist with documentation feedback on constant improvements of parts.
- Compliance with company and client OHS policies and procedures.
- Completion of installation documentation for services and repairs completed.

**Qualifications**

Suitable certification or relevant experience

**Experience**

At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment preferred
**Salary: $65k to $75k pa**

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- CANNING VALE, WA 6155: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
