**About Us**
Monash Children’s Hospital at Monash Health is a fully integrated primary, secondary and tertiary health service to approximately a third of the state’s children. It also plays a central role in the delivery of many state wide tertiary services. It is the third largest provider of paediatric medical services in Australia.
The purpose built Monash Children’s Hospital allows clinical services to be delivered in a child and family-friendly environment, and increases bed numbers and services for children and families of south east Melbourne and Victoria.
**About the Role**
This is a Maternity Leave vacancy with the position based at Monash Children’s Hospital, Clayton, and is suitable for someone with minim 12 month paediatric experience, adult physician or GP trainees
Term 1 starting 1/4/23 to 7/5/23 - Paediatric Nephrology
Term 2 starting 8/5/23 to 6/8/23 - Paediatric Respiratory
Term 3 and 4 at Monash NICU
**About You**
Applications are invited from Medical Practitioners with at least 12 months paediatric experience following the intern year incorporating no more than 6 months neonatal medicine, and ideally in a RACP Level 3 paediatric centre, who wish to undertake Paediatric Physician Training. Successful applicants must demonstrate their potential for progressing through the Paediatric training program and for developing as a Consultant Paediatrician. They must also demonstrate an ability to practice competently at a high clinical standard.

- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
- Working with Children's Certificate
