At Specsavers Carlingford & North Rocks, we pride ourselves on being a trusted name in optical and audiology care. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our growing team. Whether you’re experienced in optics or looking to begin a new career, we’ll support you every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

- Greet customers and provide a warm, professional welcome
- Assist with frame selection, lens options, and basic repairs
- Carry out pre-screening tests before sight tests
- Offer advice and explain products and services clearly
- Handle payments, bookings, and admin at reception
- Support your team to ensure the store runs smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

- A strong communicator with great people skills
- Friendly, approachable, and passionate about helping others
- Able to thrive in a busy retail environment
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Previous retail or optical experience is a bonus - but not essential (full training provided)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $27.50 - $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 28 per week
