We are a very busy modern and established private practice in Maroubra Junction seeking a highly competent and experienced Dental Assistant to join our professional friendly team.Our practice provides a comprehensive range of treatment emphasising in restorative, cosmetic, orthodontics, implant dentistry and perio treatment in a comfortable and friendly environment.We are looking for someone who prides themselves in their work ethic, works well in a supportive team and is constantly looking to improve themselves.
- 2 years dental assistant experience with certificate III highly regarded but all levels of experience will be considered
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A passion for dentistry and ability to build rapport with patients
- Previous experience in high pace environment
- Be able to use initiative, be efficient and prioritise tasks
- Have an empathetic and caring approach to all patients
- Reliable, punctual, honest and well presented at all times
- Always have a positive attitude
- Proficient in computer skills and experience in D4W preferred

The main responsibilities in this role are:

- Preparing the treatment room for all types of dental procedures
- Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
- Greeting patients warmly and making patients feel valued and cared for
- Instrument sterilisation and maintaining strict infection control procedures
- Assisting with telephone calls and enquiries
- Administration support when required

**Salary**: $41,729.04 - $75,602.60 per year
