Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Warehouse & Packing Assistant to join our team part-time. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys maintaining an organized and tidy workspace, and thrives on hands on work with various types of electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by regularly tidying and arranging stock, pallets, and workspace areas.
Receive, stock, and organize inventory to promote efficiency and order.
Test, catalogue, grade, and assess IT hardware, consumer electronics, and other items for remarketing or disposal.
Use data sanitisation software, such as Blancco and Ziperase, to securely erase sensitive information from devices.
Prepare products for remarketing by meeting quality standards and accurately cataloguing items for the online platform.
Safely pack technology items (e.g., laptops, desktops, peripherals) for resale, shipping, or disposal, including sorting, labelling, and preparing customer orders.
Stack and wrap pallets for shipping, and use a hand pallet jack to move packed items.
Assist with packing freight containers and coordinate with the technical team for asset disposal, recycling, and lifecycle processing.
Conduct routine inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and address discrepancies promptly.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations and achieve daily KPIs.
**Requirements**:
Naturally well-organised and detail-oriented, with an ability to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
Comfortable with tasks involving tidying, sorting, and organising on a regular basis.
Confident using data sanitisation software such as Blancco and Ziperase.
Hands-on experience with basic IT hardware and electronics (e.g., PCs, laptops, peripherals) is a plus.
Physically fit, with no lifting restrictions.
Reliable transport to the site.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Remuneration:
$25.00 per hour plus superannuation.

Flexible schedule: 4-hour shifts, 5 days a week (morning or afternoon).
**Location**:
This position is based at our warehouse processing centre in Arndell Park, NSW 2148. On-site hours are between 8 am and 4 pm, with some flexibility.
