As a permanent full time Library Technician at TAFE NSW in our Bankstown campus, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative library services that empower our students and staff. From supporting digital technologies to maintaining collections and contributing to engaging library programs, you will help shape the future of education.

**About You**

You are an enthusiastic individual comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You are passionate about assisting learners and staff and enjoy being part of an innovative and exciting educational environment. You enjoy building and maintaining trusting relationships, collaborating with your team and taking initiative. You are able to service customers face-to-face as well as virtually.

A suitable applicant will also have:

- Eligibility for para-professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of library and information services, systems, and procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of the technologies relevant to libraries and ability to support changing library technologies.
