**Skills and Qualifications**
- A completed bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary education is **essential**. While postgraduate qualifications are welcomed, they may exceed the formal requirements of this role.
- A recognized TESOL qualification is **essential**. Master’s qualifications would be welcomed but considered excessive for this role.
- Experience teaching English to international students face-to-face is **essential**. At least 240 hours is expected.
- Experience using database style systems to record student outcomes is **desirable**.
- Experience and success in delivery of academic test preparation is **highly regarded**.

**Requirements of the Position**
- **Develop and deliver** English language lessons up to 20 hours per week face to face using flexible methodologies catering to the proficiency levels and individual learning needs of international students.
- Proactively **reflect** on delivery and outcomes of teaching, **engage** in professional development programs and **maintain** a professional portfolio.
- **Understand**, take responsibility for and **adhere to** the ESOL National Code of Practice, SEH policies, and the ESOS Act.
- **Create** a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active language acquisition.
- **Develop and deliver** weekly formative assessment tasks and record results of student academic outcomes, participation and engagement and provide constructive feedback to students.
- **Demonstrate** an attitude of collaboration.
