**The Role**:
Rabobank Australia’s Financial Restructuring & Recovery (FR&R) team, a key component of the Risk Management department, is responsible for developing & implementing recovery strategies for clients facing financial difficulties.

We are currently seeking a Financial Restructuring & Recovery Associate to join our team based in Sydney. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Restructuring Relationship team. This position offers significant development opportunities, allowing you to grow & advance your career within a dynamic & supportive environment.

**Top Role Accountabilities**:

- ** Collaborating** with Financial Restructuring Relationship Managers to develop & implement effective restructuring & recovery strategies.
- ** Liaising** with decision-making bodies & internal lawyers within the bank.
- ** Reviewing documentation** related to clients, including Banking Code of Practice correspondence & other required communications.
- ** Analysing financial information** provided by clients & inputting data into the Bank’s internal systems.
- ** Preparing various reports** to support the team’s efforts.

**To be successful you will have**:

- 2 years’ experience gained within a financial institution or insolvency practice
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
- An ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity, tact & empathy
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel
- An understanding of agribusiness (highly regarded)
