**The Company**
Our client has been a global leader in the specialised Medical Devices industry for over 50 years, providing niche world class products & service to their extensive client base all over the world. Reporting to head office in the US, the Australian business experiencing a strong growth period in the last 2 years, as well as a number of smart acquisitions. Due to the continued growth and recent restructure they are looking to secure the services of a driven and enthusiastic HR Business Partner to join them in their APAC head Quarters based on Sydney’s North Shore.
**The Role**
Reporting to and partnering with the Global HR Team you will provide HR business partnering across the APAC entities, responsibilities will include:
- HR generalist accountable for HR activities across APAC including any administration associated
- Create and support management teams in creating development and engagement plans for their staff
- Partner with APAC HR to drive annual and project-based HR initiatives
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and processes
- Conduct pay and benefits reviews
- End to end recruitment
- Support people leaders to manage any performance related issues
- Drive Wellbeing programs to support a healthy and productive workforce
- Ensure management is kept informed of any irregularities or non-conformance.
- Build strong communication and be a conduit between the teams across APAC
- Support M&A activity within the Region
**Your Ideal Experience**
We are looking for a highly motivated and results orientated professional who will thrive in the rapidly changing environment. Must be hands-on and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability. You will have sound decision making, communication, inter-personal, time management and presentation skills with ability to collaborate with overseas’ management to organise, plan and achieve company goals. You must have:
- Experience with above mentioned responsibilities, ideally gained in large MNC environment
- Degree qualified in a relevant field with 5+ years’ experience
- Sound working knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation and principles.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, talent management and organizational development
- Preferred background in Medical Device or a Sales based organization
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
