**Job Overview**
The café supervisor oversees the smooth running of the Balance and Blend coffee window. This role works largely autonomously, serving customers, preparing coffees and cabinet foods. This role also encompasses supervisory duties including rostering, ordering of stock and training of new employees where necessary.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Manages day-to-day café operations.
- Delivers and maintains exceptional service standards and conditions.
- Ensures proper team coverage, scheduling all rosters in advance in accordance with team availabilities and business requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients).
- Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
- Able to perform all POS duties, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensures all health regulations are met by implementing and enforcing strict food safety practices.
- Proactive in solving customer problems and satisfying customers in various situations.
- Maintains a clean and organised storefront.
- Provides ongoing training to the team members in operating standards, customer service and product knowledge.
- Demonstrates the ability to lead and effectively communicate.
**Competencies and Experience Required**:
- Extensive barista experience.
- Current RSA.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve excellence.
- Approaches the role with energy and enthusiasm.
**Role Requirements**
- Flexible with working hours - ability to work Saturdays and special events as needed.

- Wears correct preferred dress standard and is well groomed at all times.
- Completes all training requirements.
