To be considered for this role here’s what you’re offering us:
- Some experience as a HC or MC driver OR a raging enthusiasm to become one you just need someone to have some faith in you You may have tons of HR experience and have recently got your HC or MC licence but can't get a start
- You know your way around Brisbane and you're not bad with the Gold and Sunny Coasts either
- A good driving record although there may have been a few mishaps along the way (we've all done it).
- You want to step up and learn the different roles we have on offer - local freight, airport import/export, wharf work and sidelifter deliveries. If you're keen then we will train you - it's that simple
- Road ranger gearbox experience (preferred)
- Ability to cope with change - days and routes are planned but sometimes this gets out of our control. You can’t be a princess - we need you to adapt to change easily and without fuss
- A commitment to customer service - you will be working with some of our key customers so your attitude is important. We get GOOD feedback on our staff and we want to keep it that way
- You’re a good communicator - we’re not mind readers - tell us the issue, problem or challenge and we’ll work with you to sort it
- You have initiative and aren’t afraid to use it - don’t tell us when you’re 100kms away you have a flat tyre and expect us to sort it without your input. This only works when we work as a team.
- You’re a team player - no one person carries this business. EVERYONE contributes to the success or failure of what we do. We're all about longevity of employment for US ALL
- Current MSIC (Port of Brisbane access card) is advantageous but not essential

What we’re offering:
- A permanent full-time role - above award hourly rate; 38-50 hours each week - whatever is your preference
- We will consider a Job Share role - part-time options are available
- You can be based from our Lytton OR our Rocklea depot depending on where you live and what works for you. Flexibility in our approach to all our staff has been one of the keys to our success
- Day and evening shift available. We are almost 24/7 so can work around family/carer commitments, study and other issues
- Make no mistake, we are busy so ongoing job security is guaranteed
- Majority of our work is SE Queensland so no long distance. We do have customers further afield but this would be your choice
- Variety - no chance to get bored of the same old same old
- Everyone makes a contribution - we don’t know it all - if you know a better way then tell us we want to hear it
- Safe work practices - trucks & trailers that are serviced regularly by qualified people, tyres that are changed regularly to ensure driver safety at all times. NO corner cutting
- We WILL train you and offer you longevity of employment. You will make mistakes and that's ok - no one is a great driver from the get-go

- The truth - don’t tell us what you think we want to hear - if you only want to work 40 hours a week then tell us - it will NOT be a problem
- We hire adults not children - be a grown-up & take responsibility for your actions
- Follow COVID-safe practices at all times - face masks, hygiene, social distancing whenever possible or whatever the situation demands
