
Principal Project Officer Sentence and Case

**_In this role your 2 main responsibilities are:
Framework Development
Support the Project Manager by contributing to the development of Sentence and Case management frameworks to achieve fit-for-purpose outcomes aligned to overarching SQCP-S2 rehabilitation initiatives and new operating models including priority groups such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and offenders with a disability.
Contribute to complex data-collection, research, forecasting, analysis, and consultations, providing evidenced-based solutions that support the new SQCP framework delivery for these functions, and inform project recommendations.
Consider current End to End Case Management functionalities to ensure wrap-around service within SQCP-S2 with both internal parties and current external service providers.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate delivery of designated projects/consultancies and implementation of initiatives/project recommendations.
Contribute to the development of a Day One Operating Plan for Sentence and Case Management Services within the SQCP-S2 Operating model, with a strong focus on the training activities for provision of sentence and case management services and end-to-end case management within SQCP-S2.
Exercise delegated decision making to support prisoner classification and/or placement decision making to support the fill plan for SQCP-S2.
Project Management
Support the Project Director and Project Manager in ensuring the outcomes and initiatives are delivered effectively and within specified project timeframes.
Undertake project activities and deliver outcomes by developing and managing elements including formal project plans, budgets, consultation, document management, and registers in accordance with the approved project management methodologies.
Effectively identify and manage risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes and initiatives.
Track, monitor, and report on the status of the project and initiatives being managed and prepare high quality progress reports, correspondence, briefings, recommendations and submissions regarding the development, progress and delivery of SQCP-S2 project outcomes.
Successfully navigate competing priorities in the production of high-quality project deliverables which remain aligned with the intent and integrity of the end-to-end case management model.
Work autonomously, and as a member of a high functioning and collegial Project team; being resilient and adaptable to deal with and manage competing / changing priorities.
