Gladesville Veterinary Hospital are looking to fill the role of a Casual Veterinary Receptionist.

Gladesville Veterinary Hospital is located in Gladesville, NSW and was one of the first purpose-built veterinary practices in Sydney. The practice has continued to be upgraded since the hospital’s establishment in 1959 and boasts state of the art facilities for both staff and patients. We insist on maintaining the highest professional standards in the treatments that we offer to our patients, and in promoting continuing education among all staff.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Passionate and committed to caring for our patients and clients.
- Exceptional communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven experience in a strong customer service role.
- Possess an excellent work ethic, is reliable and has a stable work history.
- Motivated with high emotional intelligence and energy levels
- Intermediate to advance level of computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Strong ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure.
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
- Experience in receptionist/client services in a veterinary practice or in a medical environment is preferred. However, if you have extensive history in a customer service role in another industry, we would be keen to hear from you too.

**Duties Include but are not limited to**:

- Greeting and managing clients and patients.
- Appointment scheduling, helping clients with OTC products, keep the reception area tidy and presentable
- Client and patient data management.
- Bank reconciliations, stock deliveries and unpacking
- Processing pet insurance claims/pathology results.
- Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management staff.
